I find that using the format dd/mm/yyyy for entries results in errors when using the checking facility.
How should I enter dates?

If you want to avoid indication of errors when using the checking tool, you have to type-in your dates as follow :
23 JUL 2005

You can also use the following prefixes :
ABT (About)
AFT (After)
BEF (Befor)
BET (Between)
EST (Estimated)
CAL (Calculated)
INT (Interpreted)
For instance :
ABT 23 JUL 2005
