Bonsoir tout le monde.
Dans un arbre ascendant traditionnel, chaque génération occupe une colonne distincte. Cela fait que, pour caser 8 générations, on est obligé de tronquer même les noms.
Si l'on se débrouille pour qu'une ligne ne soit occupée que par une personne et une seule, on peut décaler très légèrement chaque génération de façon à accueillir jusqu'à 10 ou 15 générations comme ceci :

........Ici n° 4 n ... m ... d ...
....Ici n° 2 n ... m ... d ...
............Ici n° 10 n ... m ... d ...
........Ici n° 5 n ... m ... d ...
............Ici n° 11 n ... m ... d ...
Ici n° 1 n ... m ... d ...
........Ici n° 6 n ... m ... d ...
....Ici n° 3 n ... m ... d

Chaque décalage horizontal fera par exemple 0,5 à 1 cm. Comme d'habitude, une personne est reliée à ses parents par de petits traits : le 1 à 2 et 3, le 2 à 4 et 5...
Qu'en pensez-vous ?

PS. J'ai d'abord utilisé des espaces pour décaler les lignes, mais les espaces en début de ligne sont systématiquement éliminées. J'ai donc mis des points à la place.
