Here is the translation :
When you launch SmartDB, two things occur :
- MYBASE.xml is automatically open in SmartDB
- There is an automatic backup of MYBASE.xml, under the name MYBASE.xml.bak
When you execute a restructuration of the database, there is an automatic backup of MYBASE.xml, under the name MYBASE.xml.bak2
When you push the "Save modifications" button, MYBASE.xml is updated.
When you exit SmartDB, MYBASE.xml has the up-to-date version of the database, while MYBASE.xml.bak has a copy of the database as it was before the last opening, and MYBASE.xml.bak2 holds a copy of the database as it was before the last restructuration.
When you want to reload a backup, you therefore have to :
- Rename MYBASE.xml with another name (any new name)
- Rename the file to be reloaded (MYBASE.xml.bak, MYBASE.xml.bak2, ...) as MYBASE.xml |

Thank you very much for translating this item.
By the way, i make the files in excel and save them as xls (but these files can be opened by Excel 97), i think that's the way. The databases work excelent that way when you import the files.
Thanks again.
